The alternative way is to take regular bus leaving from Bangkok Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai), buses depart Ekkamai every hour from 2.00 am to 9.30 pm every day. The journey takes 5 hours.Air - There is no direct flight to Chanthaburi. However, you can take one-hour flight from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Trat Airport, and then take one-hour car driving to Chanthaburi.
